Dolph Ziggler, known for his incredible in-ring skills during his WWE days, found himself on the chopping block when he was released from the company back in September. Now his first post-WWE gig has been announced.
Back in September, several WWE superstars, including Dolph Ziggler, were released from the company following Endeavor’s acquisition. Fans wondered if he would return to the pro wrestling ring soon or if he would focus on other ventures first.
While Dolph Ziggler is performing in comedy shows as of late, that’s not the only thing he will be doing. It has been officially announced that Dolph Ziggler will be making his way to the World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico.
As announced by Lucha Libre Online, Ziggler will be squaring off against Puerto Rican wrestling veteran Ray Gonzalez at the promotion’s annual Euphoria event on January 6th, 2024. Ziggler is also going by his real name Nic Nemeth for the upcoming bout.
Ziggler has also been confirmed for MCW Fan Jam 2 in February next year. It remains to be seen how long it will be until The Showoff makes his return to a major pro wrestling promotion, as 2024 seems to be a big year for the former WWE Superstar.
