CM Punk’s return to WWE has undeniably had a significant impact on ticket sales, a rarity in the current wrestling landscape, where only a select few, such as John Cena and Roman Reigns, possess similar drawing power.

Punk’s comeback to WWE took place at Survivor Series, and the organization went to great lengths to keep it a well-guarded secret, with only the main event participants being aware shortly before the match. His return has set the stage for an anticipated feud with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in the near future.

Following his surprise return at Survivor Series, Punk delivered his first promo back on Raw, which received criticism for its more restrained tone compared to his promos in AEW. However, during his appearance on SmackDown, Punk took a more measured approach, acknowledging and elevating younger talents while also teasing that he would reveal which brand he intends to sign with on the upcoming Raw.

For the upcoming Monday’s Raw, WWE has already advertised matches such as Cody Rhodes vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso, with more matches and segments expected to be announced as the show draws closer.

WrestleTix reports that the show has sold 8,283 tickets, with 916 still available for a setup of 9,199. Notably, in the last six days following WWE’s announcement of Punk’s appearance on the show, 1,511 tickets have been sold. To put this in perspective, the last time WWE was at the same venue in June, they drew a crowd of 10,495 for Raw.

CM Punk’s return has rekindled fan interest and sparked a surge in ticket sales, showing that he remains a compelling and influential figure in the world of professional wrestling.

Given CM Punk’s recent return and its impact on ticket sales for WWE Raw, how do you think his presence will continue to affect WWE’s viewership and live event attendance in the coming weeks and months? Leave us a comment.
