CM Punk’s comeback at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event has already greatly increased WWE’s stock considering the records he broke after his return. Fans were sad to see him leave AEW, but Matt Hardy believes Punk will be on his best behavior in WWE.

CM Punk was fired from AEW back in September after Punk had a backstage fight with Jack Perry at AEW All In. This eventually led to Tony Khan firing CM Punk from AEW. CM Punk and The Elite had a lot of issues right from their backstage brawl at AEW All Out last year, which essentially sowed the seeds of Punk’s eventual departure.

While speaking on The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy, Matt Hardy talked about CM Punk returning to WWE. Matt Hardy stated that he believes WWE’s environment will ensure that CM Punk will be on his best behavior.

“You can’t hate that move by WWE, for sure. It was a shocking move. Obviously, it was gonna get people talking. It’s business, and it’s good for business. I would imagine it’s an environment where I think Phil would be on his best behavior there. If that makes him happy and he’s good with that, then I’m fine with that too. I’m cool with that. It is what it is.
