Kelani Jordan is one of the rising up-and-comers in NXT, who used to compete in NXT Level Up before making her way to the main show. She is now one of the highlights of the weekly show. In fact, WWE is now very high on her progress as well.
Kelani Jordan has quickly made a significant impact since her in-ring debut earlier this year, and her trajectory in the company is on a remarkable rise. She was initially paired with Dana Brooke before Brooke’s departure in September.
Jordan has not only reached the final of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament but has also secured a spot in the highly anticipated Iron Survivor Challenge at the upcoming NXT Deadline event.
According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was noted that WWE officials are “very high” on Kelani Jordan’s progress. Naturally, this is a big deal for the young WWE Superstar.
“The women’s match has Tiffany Stratton, Lash Legend, Kelani Jordan, Blair Davenport and Fallon Henley. It’s a real positive sign of management putting Legend and Jordan, who are both inexperienced when it comes to singles matches, in such a high profile position. Legend is an excellent athlete who has size and can talk, but has struggled in the ring in the two years since her debut. Jordan is also an excellent athlete who people are very high on her progress, as she’s only had 37 career matches and aside from Battle Royals, just started wrestling in actual matches nine months ago.”
Kelani Jordan will be squaring off against Tiffany Stratton, Blair Davenport, Lash Legend, and Fallon Henley in the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge match at NXT Deadline. We will have to wait and see whether she will end up winning the match, as fans would be more than happy with that outcome.
