MJF is certainly one of the biggest stars in pro wrestling right now and as the AEW World Champion, he makes sure to carry himself like a star. It is a known fact that he has a role in ‘The Iron Claw.’ Surprisingly enough, MJF’s role in the film was significantly cut.

‘The Iron Claw’ is a movie about the rise and fall of the legendary Von Erich family, whom made a huge impact on the sport of professional wrestling in the 1960s. The film will feature the likes of pro wrestling legend Ric Flair and MJF as well, the latter of whom will portray Lance Von Erich, who has a kayfabe relation to the Von Erich family.

According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that MJF’s role in the film was significantly cut after the final edits were made, as he is barely featured in the film.

”From what we understand, the way the “Iron Claw” movie was edited, the MJF role of playing Lance Von Erich based on people who have seen the latest version was pretty much dropped. The latest version has maybe ten seconds and they never go into the Lance story and he has no speaking lines and unless you were looking for him, you’d never know he was in it.”
