Kale Dixon recently took a swipe at the upcoming NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament, set to kick off on December 13, 2023. The participants for the tournament were revealed on the December 5 episode of NXT, sparking anticipation among fans.

The NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament has a history dating back to 2019 when Jordan Myles emerged as the victor. After a hiatus in 2020, the tournament returned in 2021, with Carmelo Hayes claiming victory. In 2022, the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament was introduced, and Roxanne Perez secured the win. This year, fans can look forward to both the men’s and women’s editions.

The lineup for the men’s tournament includes Riley Osborne, Keanu Carver, Tavion Heights, Dion Lennox, Luca Crusifino, Myles Borne, Trey Bearhill, and Oba Femi. While some familiar faces have been seen on NXT Level Up, Dion Lennox and Keanu Carver will make their television debut in the tournament.

A fan on X.Twitter inquired about Kale Dixon’s absence from the tournament, prompting Dixon to respond with a pointed statement: “I don’t need to be a part of some tournament of ‘newbies’ to put the Dixon name on the map. I’ll just make my own map, and everyone will be trying to hop on Dixon Highway to greatness. Appreciate the love tho 😎.”

Dixon, who has drawn comparisons to Randy Orton based on his style and demeanor, made his NXT debut in November 2022 during a house show, following his WWE signing in August of that year. Dixon’s determination to forge his own path and make a name for himself sets the stage for an exciting future in WWE.
