Kazuchika Okada, much like the storied legacy of TNA Wrestling itself, is poised for a remarkable shot at redemption as he prepares to make his long-awaited return to the TNA brand at the forthcoming Snake Eyes taping in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada.

This announcement came to light during the December 7th episode of IMPACT on AXS, where it was revealed that Kazuchika Okada is set to rejoin the ranks of TNA Wrestling at the TNA Snake Eyes event scheduled for Sunday, January 14, 2023.

Okada’s previous stint in TNA occurred between 2010 and 2011. Regrettably, that tenure did not unfold as favorably as he had hoped, and the manner in which he was utilized strained the relationship between NJPW and TNA/IMPACT for several years. However, his triumphant return to the brand in 2024 exemplifies the adage that time has the power to heal all wounds.

Notably, Okada was quoted as expressing his disdain for his earlier TNA experience less than two months before this surprise announcement.

“IMPACT Wrestling? Give me a break. There’s not a promotion I hate more in this world! But I was a pretty big Motor City fan back in the day. A little while back, we faced them in a tag three-way. I know exactly how good they are, but this is a three-on-three NEVER six-man match, and we’re walking in champions. Being the face of NJPW, I can say that I hate…Actually, I don’t give a damn about IMPACT. Who I really hated was TNA”

Intriguingly, recent reports suggest that Okada may soon become a free agent in 2024. Ringside News will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
