Jon Moxley made his debut at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and wasted no time in becoming a major name in the company. Moxley is known to bleed for almost every match and now he decided to defend his reason for bleeding.
AEW is known for its frequent usage of blood, especially during Jon Moxley matches. In fact, the former AEW World Champion was called out for bleeding too much during his matches. Mox’s fervent dedication toward blade jobs continues to be a source of concern for many.
The Purveyor of Violence previously stated that there is potential for blood in every match -something that did not sit well with everyone. Even then, Moxley will do what he wants to.
While speaking to Chris Mueller of Bleacher Report in a preview clip, the former AEW World Champion made it clear that he will bleed or do a spinaroonie whenever he wants to, as it is a form of self-expression.
”As far as like my own s***, I just do whatever the f*** I want at the moment. If I stop what I’m doing and do a f***** spinaroonie in the middle of the match and f***** take a wrench and gouge my f****** head open, it’s cause I felt like f***** doing it. You can’t tell me what I did was wrong. I didn’t agree not to. It’s just a form of self-expression, it’s what I felt like doing. It’s what wrestling is to me, whatever I’m gonna do, it’s whenever I’m gonna do at the moment. I don’t know what the f*** it is, it could be anything.”
Jon Moxley is currently part of the Continental Classic tournament and has secured 9 points in the tournament already. He is set to square off against Swerve Strickland on AEW Dynamite Winter Is Coming next week, so it remains to be seen who will come out on top.
