Drew McIntyre, a mainstay in WWE for the past decade and a fan favorite with his current character, has been displaying a new side of himself after he turned to the dark side – especially by using logic to explain his actions. He also seemingly took a shot at CM Punk on RAW this week and has now clarified his comments.
CM Punk’s return at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event became a significant event in pro wrestling history for many reasons. He also cut a promo on week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, where Punk said a lot of things.
During this week’s RAW, Drew McIntyre cut a scathing promo, which many fans believed was about CM Punk. McIntyre stated that some people could just get fired, released, do whatever they wanted outside the company and then return to the company – being forgiven for everything.
The Scottish Warrior took to Twitter and finally set the record straight following CM Punk speculation, as he made it clear that the promo could have been about anybody, not just Punk.
”Come on, I could be talking about ANYBODY 🤷♂️”
Drew McIntyre also had an issue with the fact that WWE left him off the 2024 Royal Rumble poster. He also took out Sami Zayn on RAW this week, so we’ll have to see what’s next in store for him.
