WWE and UFC’s merger brought a new era in the company as TKO Group Holdings took over under Endeavor’s umbrella. A lot of money is in play, and that has also resulted in some high-dollar deals.

A few WWE Superstars stand to make a lot of money in 2024 when their deals run up. Becky Lynch and Drew McIntyre’s names come to mind as people who have drawn a considerable amount of attention to their next deals. There is another top name running up as well, because the One And Only’s deal is also running up sooner than a lot of fans think.

Fightful dropped an updated list of contract statuses throughout the pro wrestling world. We previously reported on Alexa Bliss’ deal, and Chris Jericho’s as well.

We are already in December 2023. So, the Summer of 2024 is only a few months away. That being said, Ricochet’s contract is ticking down. At this point, we haven’t heard any rumbling about a new contract being signed, but he is not the only Superstar in that same situation.

Drew McIntyre has not inked a new deal with WWE yet, either. That being said, he is still heavily featured on television. Ricochet is also bringing it in the ring, with no signs of slowing down, even making media rounds alongside Samantha Irvin on occasion. Only time will tell if WWE can lock them down to new deals, but talent stand to make a lot of money right now.

Ringside News exclusively reported that a tenured member of the WWE team confirmed that this transformation in WWE’s compensation landscape to much larger deals predates Endeavor’s involvement. It was WWE’s rule of thumb to offer much larger deals, even before merger talks started.

Since we were told that, “This started before Endeavor,” that seems to indicate that the company was not affected by the UFC merger. In fact, any idea that Endeavor may increase WWE’s pay scale even more could be even better for the roster, considering the fact that WWE was already issuing massive deals, where $3 million per year is no longer considered the tip of their top-tier deals. We will have to see what kind of deal Ricochet is able to land in 2024, but he is consistently getting screen-time and impressing around every turn. One could picture him becoming a big time player for Triple H.

Then again, Tony Khan might love to have Ricochet in AEW. We’ll have to see what happens in this situation, but since Samantha Irvin is with WWE, that gives Ricochet all the more reason to stick around for another deal.

What’s your take on Ricochet’s current WWE contract status? Do you think AEW would make good use of him? Will he become a major champion for Triple H eventually? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
