The Rock hosted SNL on March 18th, 2000 for the first time, and he went on to host to iconic show on many more occasions. His appearances on the iconic comedy show showcase not only his charismatic personality, but also his impressive comedic timing. The Rock’s SNL hosting stints are met with widespread acclaim, as he delivers memorable sketches, but one segment has been carefully swept under the rug. Val Venis certainly didn’t forget about it.

Val Venis is not shy about his opinions at all. In fact, his online rants about the cause behind Bray Wyatt’s passing really ruffled some feathers. That being said, the Big Valbowski is far from finished.

Val Venis has been very outspoken about The Rock in the past. Not only did he drag his pro wrestling ability, but he also called out The Great One for “selling his soul to the Devil.” Venis dragged Oprah into his online rants as well.

Dwayne Johnson hosted Saturday Night Live on May 20th, 2017, with musical guest Katy Perry, and Val Venis hasn’t forgotten about one sketch. Venis sent out a poll about The Rock. It was a very simple question, but it didn’t provide any context. He simply asked if a controversial sketch, that many have forgotten about at this point, featuring The Rock was funny.

POLL: Was the SNL skit with #TheRock creating a child molesting robot funny or not funny????

As of this writing, “Not Funny” is beating “Funny” without question. The Rock has not responded to this poll.

In case you’re wondering, the video of The Rock’s controversial sketch is still on the official SNL YouTube page. It was uploaded six years ago, and it is currently sitting at 13 million views. You can also check it out below.

For context, the description on the video is, “One mad scientist (Dwayne Johnson) goes farther than the others (Kyle Mooney, Sasheer Zamata, Beck Bennett) to win a contest for most evil invention.” Only time will tell how long it stays up at this point, because Val Venis certainly pointed a spotlight on that sketch with his post.
