AEW has inked deals with stars that they want to keep around. They also like to make sure fans know what they’re doing, and it’s common to share this news on social media. That being said, one current champion didn’t get that treatment.
Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that, “another AEW name is confirmed as being under a full-time contract, even though it was fairly obvious.” It was noted that current TBS Champion Julia Hart has inked a new deal with AEW, one that was done a while back.
It was also noted that AEW has signed several talent to new deals without getting “All Elite” graphics shared on social media. As of this writing, Julia Hart is the only star that they have disclosed.
Although she hasn’t received the “is All Elite” graphic, Fightful is told that Julia Hart is under a full-time contract with All Elite Wrestling. We’re told this was done quite a while back, but no announcement was made and it wasn’t reported. After Hart winning the TBS Title, Fightful asked why no graphic was given, and were just told there are numerous full-time talent that were increased from per date deals that didn’t end up getting graphics.
Julia Hart’s wrestling journey has primarily revolved around All Elite Wrestling, especially since April 2021. She initially made frequent appearances during the pandemic-era shows, regularly gracing the screens of Dark and Dynamite before aligning herself with the Varsity Blonds. Later on, she shifted her loyalties to the House of Black, where she took on a managerial role and also gained prominence as a singles competitor.
It was also noted that not all wrestlers featured on AEW’s roster page hold full-time contracts. This includes individuals like Chavo Guerrero Jr and Jake Atlas. Interestingly, Peter Avalon continues to appear on the roster page despite not being under a full-time contract.
