Ric Flair is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, but some fans have been critical about his time in AEW. This led to a controversial social media post, one that may not end well for Flair’s career. This caused a lot of discussions, and everyone is seemingly weighing in on what the Nature Boy said.
Ric Flair has retired from pro wrestling a couple of times. This recent return to AEW was not as an active talent, but he is still appearing for the company. Now, he may step away from that as well.
Ric Flair made is clear that he is willing to walk away from AEW. He made a very public proclamation on X, where he acknowledged all the hatred that he’s received from fans as well.
”I Am So Tired Of Hearing All This Negativity! I Don’t Need To Work, And I Don’t Need The Money. Can’t I Simply Enjoy Being By My Dear Friend @stinger’s Side For The Next Few Months Without So Much Hatred? I Know I’m Old, But That Doesn’t Mean I Can’t Enjoy Life! I Have Earned The Right To Do Whatever I Want & I’m Exactly Where I Want To Be! I Appreciate Everything @tonyrkhan, But I’m More Than Willing To Walk Away If I Am Embarrassing You And Your Company. All I Can Say Is I’m Sorry!”
Ric Flair received support from Miro after so many dragged The Nature Boy. Now, it appears that The Big Guy is weighing in.
Ryback jumped on X to let everyone know how he feels about Ric Flair retiring. He suggested that The Nature Boy put up a poll. He then proceeded to plug his nutrition line.
I suggest doing a retirement poll, perhaps with a brand promotion. Speaking of that, @FMMNutrition has 20% Off all December with code HOLIDAY20 and a FREE Gift. Link in bio. Keep up the great work Ric! #Hungry
Ryback is one to speak about retirement. He promised to quit the business if CM Punk returned at Survivor Series, but then he backtracked on that as soon as Punk showed up in Chicago to close out the show.
We will have to see if Ric Flair really stops appearing for AEW. It seems that the money is there, but he said he’s not doing it for the cash. Only time will tell what is next for Flair, but he certainly got a lot of people looking at him right now.
