Great news for AEW fans and Sammy Guevara supporters! The AEW star, Sammy Guevara, who has been absent from in-ring action since AEW WrestleDream on October 1 due to a reported concussion, has been cleared to make his in-ring return.
Guevara’s medical clearance was confirmed by Dave Meltzer during a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio. While the exact date of his clearance wasn’t specified, it was noted that he was cleared over a week ago. However, Guevara had chosen to stay out of action until after the birth of his child.
“He was cleared – I don’t know when he was cleared exactly, but it was over a week ago and it was basically, he wasn’t gonna be there until she (Tay Melo) gave birth, and then he would come back shortly after.“
“At that point when she was about to give birth there was no point coming back until after she gave birth. But yeah, he’s cleared.”
Tay Melo, Guevara’s partner, gave birth to their daughter, Luna Melo Guevara, on November 28, 2023, after a labor that lasted more than twenty-four hours. Now that the momentous event has passed, fans can look forward to seeing Sammy Guevara back in action in the AEW ring.
It’s an exciting development for both Guevara and the AEW community, and everyone is eager to witness his return to competition in the squared circle.
