‘PG Punk’ Trends After CM Punk’s Divisive 11/27 WWE RAW Promo

The Second City Saint made his triumphant return to WWE following the WarGames match at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event – something that many felt was never going to happen. That said, some fans now feel that shouldn’t have happened as ‘PG Punk’ has started tending after Punk’s return promo on RAW this week.

This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW had a lot of things going for it, especially considering both Randy Orton and CM Punk were present. That said, fans had to wait until the very end of the show for Punk’s promo.

CM Punk stated that he was finally home and even gave an update on AJ Lee and referenced Paul Heyman. However, quite a few fans felt his promo lacked the fire and substance that Punk usually has in his promo.

Instead, many felt it was a hollow, corporate representation of Punk. This led to ‘PG Punk’ trending on social media. In case you didn’t know, ‘PG Punk’ is what MJF called CM Punk during their feud in AEW back in 2021.

Only time will tell what WWE has planned for The Second City Saint. Unfortunately, his first appearance on RAW in almost 10 years didn’t exactly go the way fans expected whatsoever.
