CM Punk is back in WWE after a rocky ride with AEW that was filled with one controversy after another. Now that Punk is back in WWE, there are some who wonder if he will change any of his ways, especially when it comes to his outspoken political views.

Val Venis has been very outspoken about a variety of subjects. He dragged The Rock for selling his soul, but that is only scratching the surface. The Big Valbowski has an opinion about CM Punk, and it’s quite political.

In May 2022, during an episode of AEW Dynamite, CM Punk appeared as a guest commentator for the match between AEW World Champion Adam Page and Konosuke Takeshita. Punk wore a shirt with a pro-choice message when he entered. That brought some negativity from former WWE referee Drake Wuertz at the time. Over a year later, this subject has not gone away.

CM Punk brought the ire of Val Venis right after he rocked that pro-choice t-shirt. Venis, who has left pro wrestling behind him in many ways to concentrate on his incredibly profitable marijuana business, is known for posting his political leanings on social media.

Val Venis logged onto X, and he dropped another screenshot of CM Punk wearing that pro-choice t-shirt. Then he included a caption that wondered if Punk will try to get away with wearing the same kind of clothing on WWE television.

I wonder if @cmpunk will promote genocide in the womb on #WWE TV like he did #AEW TV.

Val Venis wasn’t done. One fan replied to say, “The CM punk comparison makes little to no sense.” Then, Val Venis also posted a photo of CM Punk holding a sign urging to support LGBTQ Youth. The caption Venis decided to go with said, “Oh really, so @CMPunk advocating for the genocide of unborn humans and supporting the mental ideology of kids getting their junk chopped off while claiming Trump is racist, is somehow different?

In the past, Val Venis said that CM Punk can’t be trusted. He expressed the hope that Tony Khan would grow a pair” when it came to dealing with the Second City Savior.

Val Venis’ X account has significant restrictions. A search for @ValVenisEnt yields no results, and access to his account is only possible through mentions in the timeline. Furthermore, the specific post where he made unsubstantiated claims about the vaccine cannot be embedded. Our attempt to embed it resulted in an error message stating, “Sorry, this content could not be embedded.” For reference, you can view a screenshot of his post below.

We will have to see what the Big Valbowski says next, but we will keep our eyes peeled for it here at Ringside News. CM Punk’s time in WWE is just starting for his second run, and Val Venis will probably be watching closely.
