Matt Riddle became a controversial name in WWE because of his problematic actions outside the squared circle, which led to him getting released from the company. He is clearly setting up a busy 2024 as Riddle has now been announced for a Lucha Libre event for next year.

Matt Riddle officially confirmed WWE fired him back in September, and he almost immediately got interest from other wrestling promotions after his release. He also purchased a new car and started his own business venture afterwards.

A pro wrestling promotion based in Mexico, named The Crash, recently announced that Matt Riddle is set to appear at their January 19th show. It will be held at the Auditorio Fausto Gutierrez Moreno, with the show starting at 8:30 PM. It will be a Lucha Libre event, which is evident by now.

Riddle already has another gig besides his Mexican venture. He will also face RVD next year in the highly anticipated matchup. We’ll have to wait and see which major company he will end up in next.
