CM Punk’s return to WWE at Survivor Series will mark one of the biggest surprises in WWE history. Since he has a track record of confrontation and controversy, there are also concerns about how Punk will be handled. The Second City Savior closed out WWE RAW this week, and he had a live microphone in his hand.

Ringside News has complete coverage of WWE RAW this week. It was quite a show, and they kicked off with a brand-new intro song.

CM Punk and WWE were not talking about a return, until just before the Survivor Series event. Triple H admitted that Punk’s deal came together very late in the game, with Punk not signing his deal until the Saturday of Survivor Series.

WWE RAW waited until the final segment for CM Punk’s return to the red brand. The Nashville crowd was more than ready to welcome him back.

CM Punk’s first words were, “it looks like Hell froze over.” Then he got a little heat from the Nashville Predators fans for being a Blackhawks fan getting so much love. That brought a slight boo, but fans got over it.

CM Punk then got to the point. He said that he’s changed, and Dusty Rhodes told him that “as long as you speak from the heart, you can’t go wrong.” He said this is the truth before saying: “I’m home.

Those two words brought a huge reaction from the fans, as CM Punk continued to say that WWE is where he belongs. He said that WWE fans are powerful, because they wanted him back, they never stopped chanting his name, and they never forgot about him.

CM Punk said that he’s back because he loves the WWE fans, and he missed it. He wishes that he could say that he never had to leave. Then he said “a wise man told me to get everything I need I need to leave and come back.” Now, CM Punk is back home, where he said it feels like “a family reunion” and everyone was happy to see him.

Then CM Punk brought up his wife, AJ Lee. He said “AJ is fabulous and she sends her regards.” Then CM Punk said that some people aren’t happy about his return, because they’re afraid that CM Punk may steal their spot.

CM Punk said that the best in the world is back, live and in living color, and he’s standing in the WWE ring. This is how CM Punk closed out RAW, and he did so before saying, “I’m back, I’m not here to make friends, I’m here to make money.”

We will have to see what’s next for CM Punk, but he is back, and he is not going to slow down for anyone.
