The Hurt Business was composed of Bobby Lashley, MVP, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin, and they made a lasting impact during their time in WWE. The group elevated the careers of everyone involved and then some. Unfortunately, the Hurt Business eventually disbanded in 2021 and fans were simply saddened by this. That said, a WWE star’s wife also laid the blame on Vince McMahon for the faction’s demise.

Even Roman Reigns felt that the faction was broken up too early. While there was a brief attempt at a reunion, it was ultimately short-lived, leaving fans with no expectation of a future return for the faction.

Bobby Lashley previously said the breakup ‘hurt his heart.’ Cedric Alexander’s wife Big Swole took to Twitter and laid the blame on Vince McMahon for what happened to the faction, as she stated that McMahon would pay for his crimes while commenting on a tribute video for The Hurt Business.

Vincent will pay for his crimes 😭”

Bobby Lashley found another version of The Hurt Business of sorts, as he is currently the leader of a faction comprising him, The Street Profits and now B-Fab. We’ll have to wait and see how their faction will continue to get booked in the coming months.
