CM Punk continues to be a lightning rod for controversy, consistently finding himself in the spotlight for various reasons. The rumor mill is buzzing with speculation about his potential return to the WWE, following his departure from AEW. Intriguingly, just ahead of WWE Survivor Series, Punk’s iconic theme song received a major facelift.

Over the past few months, WWE has been dropping subtle hints and references to CM Punk in their programming. The USA Network has even joined the fun by not-so-subtly alluding to his possible return, a move they’ve pulled off a couple of times already.

It’s a well-known fact that Living Colour’s ‘Cult of Personality’ has served as CM Punk’s anthem for over a decade, whether it was during his WWE days or in his stint with AEW. What’s more intriguing is that Living Colour decided to drop a freshly remastered version of the song this very week, just in time for Survivor Series.

Adding fuel to the fire, a WWE employee believes that there might be a path for Punk to step back into the WWE ring. With Survivor Series slated to go down on November 25th in the heart of Chicago, all eyes will be on whether The Second City Saint makes a triumphant return at the event.
