Rey Mysterio is undoubtedly one of the true veterans in the world of professional wrestling, having been in the industry for well over three decades. The animated show based on Mysterio has yet to release but now it has been confirmed the show will be dropping soon.

“Rey Mysterio vs. La Oscuridad” was first announced in late 2021 as a 10-episode action-comedy animated series that would be airing on Cartoon Network Latin America in 2022. However, the series didn’t release last year at all.

It has now been announced that the show will finally air on Cartoon Network Latin America and HBO Max LA. The networks announced that the series will air “very soon,” but no exact date was given in the new trailer.

“A legend like you’ve never seen before! Rey Mysterio vs The Darkness comes VERY SOON to #CartoonNetwork and @hbomaxla.”
