Karen Jarrett Received Interesting Support For Her AEW Television Debut

Karen Jarrett is known by pro wrestling fans due to her time in TNA. She also can’t escape the controversy surrounding her previous marriage to Kurt Angle. Now she is on AEW television as a part of her husband’s stable. It seems that she resisted the idea of being on television once again, but she had support from an unlikely place.

Dax Harwood is a student of pro wrestling as well as one of the best tag team wrestlers on the planet. It seems that he was really pulling for Karen Jarrett to make her AEW debut as well.

During the latest AEW Unrestricted, Karen Jarrett spoke about how she ended up in AEW and said she heard it was Dax Harwood who pushed for her to join.

“Well, it was very last minute when it was decided on. I thought it was going to happen maybe sooner than it did when stuff happened with The Acclaimed. I know different ideas were tossed around backstage and Jeff said, ‘I think this may happen, I think that might happen.’ It was actually Dax that kept pushing for it, from what I’ve heard, so we have him to thank for me showing up. I think it’s like 36 hours before we’re told, ‘Hey, we need you there.’“

Karen Jarrett is no stranger to getting heat from pro wrestling fans. Obviously, Dax Harwood understood that, which likely gave him even more reason to keep bringing this idea up to AEW higher-ups, and Karen herself. Now, she is on AEW television on a frequent basis, and she has Harwood to thank for that.
