WWE NXT is moving to The CW in October 2024. They are discussing a major overhaul with the show, and a lot more money is coming in. The CW is also available in even more homes than the USA Network, so it stands to reason that their new reach could result in even more viewers.
Lash Legend recently shared her thoughts on NXT’s upcoming transition to the CW Network. This move, scheduled for October 2024, marks a significant change for NXT, as it shifts from its previous home on the USA Network. The shift is part of a new five-year deal forged between NXT and the CW Network. Since 2019, NXT has been airing on the USA Network, and the brand has gained recognition as a prominent third entity alongside WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown.
While opening up on the Black Rasslin’ Podcast. Lash Legend spoke about the new CW deal, and how she is excited to perform on a larger stage.
“My first words were like, ‘Oh snap! Okay! That’s what’s up. That’s awesome.’ I don’t want to speak for everybody, but I know a lot of my co-workers are all really excited about it. I haven’t heard anything negative about it. We’re all looking forward to it. I want it. We would love to have that bigger stage. We’re all trying to make it to the main roster anyway, I hope that’s the goal. That’s the bigger stage, so why not want to go to CW?”
Lash Legend expressed her enthusiasm for NXT’s impending presence on the CW Network, emphasizing the significance of this transition to a broader audience. In a recent match on the November 14th episode of NXT, Lash Legend secured a victory over Roxanne Perez, earning her a spot in the Iron Survivor Challenge match set to take place at NXT Deadline.
Odds are, Lash Legend will have a lot more to do in WWE before everything is said and done. Thanks to NXT’s new deal with The CW, she will get to perform in front of even more fans.
