WWE is always looking for someone who can really help improve their roster. It appears that they had their eyes on a former NWA Women’s Champion, and they have been able to sign Madi Wrenkowski.
WWE appears to have secured the services of a wrestler as they approach the new year, aiming to build upon their successful 2023, marked by impressive achievements in various key metrics such as revenue, television ratings, and historic live event attendances.
The company has already solidified media rights agreements for NXT on the CW Network and SmackDown with the USA Network. They have successfully revitalized the NXT brand, making it a highly desirable commodity among fans, which had been a challenge since the heyday of the black and gold brand before AEW’s emergence in 2019.
According to PW Insider, Madi Wrenkowski was recently seen at the WWE Performance Center, leading to speculation that she has inked a deal with WWE NXT. Wrenkowski entered the wrestling scene in 2019 and has since competed for various promotions, including Mission Pro Wrestling, Hurricane Pro Wrestling, SWE, among others.
Madi Wrenkowski made her All Elite Wrestling debut on the December 22nd episode of AEW Dark, where she faced Leyla Hirsch. She has also made appearances for AEW on other occasions.
Notably, Madi Wrenkowski previously held the NWA Women’s Tag Team Championships as part of M95 alongside Missa Kate, with her last NWA match taking place in August. We will have to see what is in store for her in WWE.
