Speculations on Kazuchika Okada’s WWE Future

Shinsuke Nakamura’s latest promo series made many fans believe that the Second City Savior it in his crosshairs, but that’s not the case. There is also another question about a second option, and that could be an even bigger name.

It was previously reported that WWE has their eye on Kazuchika Okada. His contract with NJPW is running up soon, and that may be a reason why WWE is giving such a spotlight to Shinsuke Nakamura. The King of Strong Style showed up with another cryptic promo on RAW this week, and fans started to wonder what is going on.

During Wrestlign Obsever Radio, Dave Meltzer commented on Shinsuke Nakamura’s promo on WWE RAW this week. He noted that the person Nakamura is calling out is very likely not Kazuchika Okada.

“Maybe Okada, right? His deal is up in February, yeah, and I don’t think he’s going to WWE.”

Kazuchika Okada has a big decision to make in February, but it’s a stretch to assume that he is going to WWE. After all, he is worth a ton of money to NJPW, who may try their hardest to keep him around.

WWE has pulled big surprise signings in the past, and Kazuchika Okada has been on their radar for a very long time. It’s anyone’s guess who Shinsuke Nakamura is talking about during those ongoing promo segments, but he obviously has someone in mind.
