John Cena was on his longest WWE run in over six years, as fans were just happy to see him on WWE television every week. That run more or less ended after Crown Jewel earlier this month. Now Paul Heyman has proclaimed Solo Sikoa as the first person to make Cena break a promise.

John Cena squared off against Solo Sikoa at the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia. The Leader of Cenation was systematically dismantled and then brutalized by the young Samoan, as Cena lost the match. He would then tease retirement immediately afterwards.

Paul Heyman took to Twitter and uploaded a post, where he proclaimed Solo Sikoa as the first person to make John Cena break a promise, as Cena had previously vowed to emerge victorious at Crown Jewel.

(Cena promised himself a victory. Then that promise got SPIKED)”

The SAG AFTRA strike allowed Cena to compete in WWE again. However, as previously reported, the SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike has been called off. Immediately after that, John Cena dropped hint about retiring once again. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see when Cena will return to WWE television in the future.
