WWE is looking to keep things fresh at all times. This could call for a big change to RAW each week. Fans could see a brand-new theme song soon enough.
According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, WWE is discussing revamping the RAW theme song. This could be a big change for fans that they will notice right away.
Right now, Vo Williams’ Greatness song is the theme, and it’s been around for about two years now. It appears that a facelift is in store for RAW’s theme some soon enough.
A source revealed to Fightful that a new theme song could debut on the show very soon, as soon as this week. We haven’t been able to confirm as much as that quite yet, but did confirm that it was a discussion and a song has been produced. From a timing perspective, it would make sense, as Vo Williams’ “Greatness” has been used for almost exactly two years, as it debuted on November 22, 2021. Williams’ theme is the longest running WWE Raw theme since “The Night” by the now disbanded CFO$, which lasted from July 2012 to July 2016. Themes from Nickelback, Papa Roach, Union Underground, and Jim Johnston all lasted longer prior.
The report went on to note that, “early indications were that the theme would be a Def Rebel production, which we’ve not confirmed as of yet. Def Rebel produced the current Smackdown theme “Nobody Better than Me” and numerous WWE themes.“
We will keep our eye on this story, and so much more, right here at Ringside News. You never know how WWE will change things around next, especially as we enter into a new year with 2024 right around the corner.
