Ringside News had comprehensive coverage of AEW Full Gear, highlighting the event’s significance and numerous talking points.

Following AEW Full Gear, MJF was fresh from his AEW World Title defense against Jay White, an emotionally charged match. He approached the media scrum openly displaying his emotions, shedding tears. MJF passionately expressed his deep affection for professional wrestling, speaking candidly and not censoring his choice of words. It was undoubtedly a profoundly heartfelt moment for MJF in the aftermath of the AEW pay-per-view. He tearfully recounted how he had put in immense effort against Jay White, driven by his desire to reclaim the title. Despite enduring pain, he persevered in the match because of his profound love for the sport of professional wrestling.

“I busted my ass to make it to the top of this f*cking sport, and when that table broke, I had two f*cking options. I could have thrown him in the ring like an absolute f*cking nerd, or I could have f*cking done what I set out to do and put on a show for the fans that I love. These tears are not f*cking fake. Like it really hurts bad, and I landed on it really hard off the top rope, but I f*cking love wrestling so much, and I love this belt so much, and I love my best friend, Adam Cole, so much, and he helped me get through it, and I’m in a lot of f*cking pain.”

MJF was able to calm down after that. He ate a pickle, and he took a few questions before leaving. All the while, his body was in pain, recuperating from the battle he just endured.

Miro saw that promo, and it doesn’t seem that the Redeemer was impressed. The former Rusev logged onto X, and he trolled MJF’s promo a bit, by saying that, “crying is for babies.”

We will have to see what is next for Miro. He hasn’t faced MJF in the ring yet, but words like that about MJF’s tear-filled promo may just get the Salt of the Earth’s attention.
