AEW fans are wondering what happened to Danhausen at this point. He is around, especially on social media, which is where they could recently find him squashing a rumor about his absence from AEW television.
A post went viral that included a pretty big story. The narrative is that Danhausen was bootlegging AEW merchandise as it said, “Danhausen was apparently stealing shirt designs from AEW shop, then getting them printed out for dirt cheap at a local print shop and selling those himself for the same price as an AEW shop shirt.“
The rumor claimed that AEW is investigating this matter, which is why he was pulled from his scheduled Rampage return angle. It was also stated that Danhausen may lose his job over the issue.
Danhausen saw this rumor, and he had to say something. The Very Nice, Very Evil one posted to call out this rumor as a baseless lie that generated online.
The internet is good because one singular dumb person can make up an entire lie about you and then a bunch of even dumber people will believe the lie and add more lies to it.
We will have to see if Danhausen makes his AEW television return any time soon. He has a lot of fans who want to see him perform, and he also puts a lot of thought into everything his character does. Only time will tell what happens next in this situation.
Danhausen and CM Punk are good friends. Punk even randomly ordered 14 cheeseburgers for Danhausen not too long ago. Odds are, they will never get to work with each other in AEW as they may have wanted to. Hopefully, Tony Khan will find some kind of way to use him very soon.
