WWE SmackDown Viewership Sees Big Jump With November 17th Episode Against AEW Collision

WWE presented another live episode of SmackDown this week. AEW Collision also ran their episode head-to-head with SmackDown this week, because of their Full Gear show on Saturday. WWE covered a lot of ground with SmackDown, but now we know how the viewership turned out.

Ringside News provided comprehensive coverage of WWE SmackDown this week. It was quite a show, and the general running story involved Damage CTRL beefing up their stable. LA Knight and Jimmy Uso also had a chance to hash things out in the ring.

According to Alfred Konuwa, the November 17th edition of WWE SmackDown brought in an overnight viewership average of 2.22 million, with 792k in the 18 to 49 demographic. This number was up 15% from the previous week’s average.

During the November 17th episode of WWE SmackDown, Solo Sikoa had a promo, his first one since beating John Cena at WWE Crown Jewel. He didn’t do a ton of talking, as Paul Heyman took the microphone. Damage CTRL also added to their stable in an official capacity this week. The running angle involved the babyface team at WarGames finding a 4th team member. In the end, Becky Lynch stepped up to battle Damage CTRL.

The November 10th episode of WWE SmackDown brought in an overnight viewership of 2.090 million, with a .52 in the 18 to 49 demographic. That number was a bit down from the previous week’s average.

The November 3rd episode of WWE SmackDown drew an overnight viewership of 2.017 million, with 648K in the 18 to 49 demographic. That number was up significantly from the previous week’s episode on FS1.

We will have to see how WWE books the blue brand from this point on. They certainly brought quite a show with the aftermath of Crown Jewel, and we’re so much closer to Survivor Series already.
