The Undertaker put his body on the line for the enjoyment of fans and most of them always appreciated that. This commitment has earned him legendary status and he is also viewed as Vince McMahon’s most loyal Superstar. That said, he also decided to refute claims that Vince McMahon is solely focused on money.
The Deadman and Vince McMahon share a deep and personal bond, as he showed his loyalty to WWE by never going to WCW during the Monday Night Wars. Therefore it is never a surprise when The Undertaker says something nice about McMahon.
Vince McMahon worked hard to build WWE into the global juggernaut it is today and no one can deny that. While speaking to Bill Apter, The Undertaker shut down rumors that Vince McMahon is solely focused on money, making it clear that McMahon cares more about improving the product, among other things.
“Not motivated by money. He’s motivated by making the product better. Not in the same sense that most people are motivated by money. I mean, he wants to obviously make money, he wants to draw money, he wants to increase the value of the company and all of that, but personal wealth is not on his radar, I don’t think, but definitely making the product better is always first and foremost on his mind.”
The Undertaker and Vince McMahon have an unbreakable bond that has stood the test of time, as they continue to be loyal to each other no matter what. Regardless, The Deadman is happy for what McMahon has accomplished and that’s all that matters.
