Santos Escobar attacked Rey Mysterio last week on Smackdown – turning heel in the process. He has been going after Mysterio since then as well. On this week’s Smackdown, Escobar showed off a brand new look that fans weren’t accustomed to. Escobar has now revealed that he was inspired by an iconic villain in cinema history for his new look.

Ringside News provided detailed coverage of WWE SmackDown’s November 17th episode, as the show had quite a few memorable moments throughout the night. This included Santos Escobar, who got a change in presentation during the show.

Escobar came out to his NXT music and cut a scathing promo on Rey Mysterio and Carlito, making it clear he was done with the LWO for good. Following the conclusion of Smackdown, Santos Escobar took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself alongside Tony Montana from ‘Scarface,’ making it clear that he took inspiration from the crime lord for his new look.

Santos Escobar is set to square off against Carlito at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event on November 25th. It remains to be seen whether Escobar will get some help in order to defeat the veteran.
