Ronda Rousey’s Contract Situation Post-Surprise ROH Debut

Ronda Rousey showed up during the Ring of Honor television tapings after AEW Collision and Rampage went live this week. Now fans have a ton of questions about what is next for the former WWE Superstar.

During the taping, Ronda Rousey and Marina Shafir formed a tag team to take on Billy Starkz and ROH Women’s Champion Athena. This was a big moment that is expected to air on ROH TV next week. Rousey even came out to Joan Jett’s Bad Reputation as her entrance music.

Tony Khan has since posted on X about Ronda Rousey’s big ROH surprise debut. Many fans wondered at that point whether Ronda Rousey will be AEW’s big signing at Full Gear.

PW Insider posted a Q&A, and one big question was about Ronda Rousey. Mike Johnson was asked whether Ronda Rousey has signed a deal with AEW. At this point, it doesn’t seem that any contract has been signed.

We have not heard that is the case.

Ronda Rousey can do as she pleases, and this was likely a fun thing for her to do. Only time will tell if she makes more appearances for Tony Khan’s company, but the Baddest Woman on the Planet certainly surprised fans who stuck around for the ROH tapings.
