WWE’s Survivor Series event is coming to Chicago’s Allsate Arena on November 25th. There are a lot of rumors going around about the big event, and WWE accidentally added a bit of fuel to the fire. Then they had to backtrack a bit.

WWE removed a significant hint regarding a rumored substantial comeback expected to occur at WWE Survivor Series next weekend. Of course, this had to do with Randy Orton.

The main event of Survivor Series is slated to feature a men’s War Games match, with the Judgment Day facing off against Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn. With one more episode of Raw remaining before the event, reports have suggested that the War Games match might evolve into a 5 vs. 5 contest, with Drew McIntyre joining the ranks of the Judgment Day.

Speculation has swirled regarding the potential fifth member of the babyface team, with Randy Orton being a prominent candidate. Orton, a friend of Cody Rhodes, has been absent from the ring for more than a year. It was later reported that the 5th babyface’s name for WarGames will be revealed before Survivor Series.

As rumors surrounding Randy Orton’s potential return continues to intensify, WWE initially posted a substantial teaser hinting at the Viper’s potential comeback at Survivor Series. It appears that this is a very poorly-kept secret.

WWE utilized its Instagram platform to share a video clip showcasing Randy Orton executing an RKO on Hunico during the 2011 Survivor Series event. The accompanying caption raised eyebrows, adding to the intrigue surrounding Orton’s potential reappearance at the upcoming Survivor Series.

You just never know when an RKO is going to pop up #SurvivorSeries

However, the major hint was obviously noticed by those within the company, as the caption has since been updated, now reading: “Gets us every time #SurvivorSeries.”

We will keep a close eye on WWE’s Survivor Series build, and the WarGames match as well. Ringside News can’t wait to bring you all the details, because it seems that Randy Orton is on his way back to the company.
