Bryan Danielson has given his all to the pro wrestling world. Sadly, some of his fans won’t get to see him at Wrestlecade when they planned to, and now we know the reason behind that cancellation.
Bryan Danielson is presently contending with a broken orbital bone sustained in a prior match against Andrade El Idolo. Nevertheless, Bryan Danielson is set to return to the ring shortly. He still had to pull out of an event that many fans were excited about.
As we previously reported, Bryan Danielson posted on his Instagram story, sharing an update from Wrestlecade. According to the message, Danielson will regrettably not be able to participate in Wrestlecade Weekend, which is the year of the dragon, on Saturday, November 25th, due to “unforeseen circumstances.” It was also noted that the event will be rescheduled for a date next year.
Bodyslam.net reports that Bryan Danielson’s broken orbital bone is the reason for cancelling that event. The “unforeseen circumstances” is simply the injury that we are all aware of, and there is nothing else that happened.
Bodyslam.net sources have confirmed to us that Danielson’s current broken orbital bone injury was cited as the reason for Danielson withdrawing from the event and while AEW were working on a replacement, that did not come to pass. The issue was originally brought up two weeks ago as Danielson was supposedly unable to fly, but is now being advertised for Dynamite and Collision the week of WrestleCade.
Bryan Danielson needs to take it easy, and rest up, during this time. He obviously wants to make it back to the ring very soon. That will happen the moment he is cleared, Tony Khan still has a lot planned for Bryan Danielson’s last year as a full-time competitor.
AEW will hopefully find a replacement for Bryan Danielson. That being said, it will be hard to find someone who can really compare to the former WWE Champion.
