Chris Hero is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling, who became a major star by competing in the independent circuit as well as bigger pro wrestling promotions. It has been a long time since he competed in the ring and now Hero is set to make his in-ring return this week.
In case you forgot, Chris Hero had two stints in WWE before getting released by the company in April 2020 as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts. Chris Hero was also part of AEW Collision’s debut, where he produced quite a few matches for the show. He remains a producer but that doesn’t mean his career as a wrestler is over.
After all, the former WWE Superstar is set to square off against fellow ex-WWE star Timothy Thatcher this Friday, November 17th, in the main event of West Coast Pro Wrestling’s return to San Francisco, CA. That’s not the only match as there are others including Bryan Keith vs. Alpha Zo, Kevin Blackwood vs. Jiah Jewell, and West Coast Pro Wrestling Champion Starboy Charlie vs. Chris Bey.
This marks his first match in well over three years, as he last competed on the 7th March edition of NXT UK television. We will have to wait and see how he will fare in his first match back in so long.
