Trinity Wants To Change Knockouts Title Look To Glowing Belt

Naomi was known as The Glow in WWE, and she turned the entire arena into a rave during her entrance. She had glowing shoes, and everything else as she kept up that high energy. Now that Trinity is in Impact Wrestling, which will soon be TNA Wrestling once again, she wants to keep that glowing going.

Back in 2017, during her reign as WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, Trinity introduced a custom glowing championship to complement her entrance and overall persona. This distinctive accessory amplified the energy surrounding her character.

Fast-forward to her current stint with IMPACT Wrestling, where she now holds the Knockouts World Championship, and Trinity’s star power shines brighter than ever. Many fans have begun discussing the possibility of a glowing variant of the IMPACT Knockouts Championship to match her luminous persona.

In a recent interview with Battleground Podcast, Trinity expressed her receptiveness to the idea of a glowing championship. However, she also emphasized that her primary focus lies on the upcoming TNA Hard to Kill event scheduled for January 13th. At this event, Trinity will face Jordynne Grace, and a successful defense would solidify her championship reign. Only after securing her status as the champion does she intend to explore potential alterations to the championship design.

“You know what? I’ve been asked this question a few times and the more I asked about it, the more I really think about it, yes, I would like to do it. However, I’ve got some big matches coming up. So I want to make sure I get through those first and [that] I can hold on to get long enough before I light it up. So that’ll be like a little reward to myself if they allow, and if I can hold onto it after Hard to Kill, we’ll see.”

Trinity did not dismiss this idea, so fans may see a glowing TNA Knockouts Title eventually. That would certainly be a nice addition to her character, and it may give the company even more reason to keep the title on her.

Trinity has seen a lot of success in Impact Wrestling since she decided to join them. Her WWE departure certainly drew headlines when she and Mercedes Mone walked out of WWE. Only time will tell if the Glow will return to television in a title belt form.
