WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has accomplished a lot during his time in WWE, having a remarkable rookie year and going on to become a legend in the business. Many believe his life is extraordinary, which is why a movie on his life will be made. In fact, Angle has revealed when the movie will start filming.

The Olympic Gold Medalist has competed in WWE and TNA during his in-ring career and ended up retiring in 2019, following his loss to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. He has made sporadic appearances on WWE television since then.

While speaking on the True Geordie podcast, Kurt Angle revealed that he is working on a movie about his life story. The WWE Hall of Famer noted that shooting for the film will begin next year.

“What I do now is, I dabble in movies. I got a movie coming up in January. I just did a movie last March. I do some of that.

“I got a movie we’re doing about my life story, which we’re gonna start filming probably next year. It should be a pretty cool thing. I’ll be able to help out with it, be an advisor, which is kind of cool. So I’m looking forward to that.”

Kurt Angle also regretted not having huge merchandise sales like Steve Austin and John Cena. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how his biopic will turn out, whenever it gets a release date.
