Thunder Rosa Gets Physical During Match Amidst AEW In-Ring Hiatus

Thunder Rosa is considered one of the best female in-ring competitors in the world right now. She was dealing with a debilitating back injury and still remains out of action even now. While she still hasn’t competed in AEW so far, Rosa got involved during a match recently.

Thunder Rosa’s back injury left her no choice but to withdraw from AEW All Out last year. Despite her absence, she maintained her status as the AEW Women’s Champion but eventually had to forfeit the title – with Jamie Hayter being recognized as the only AEW Women’s Champion at the time.

The former AEW Women’s Champion has been working hard rehabbing her injuries and clearly, she is feeling much better now. During Black Swan and Billie Starkz’s match at TussleMania, Thunder Rosa got involved as she got physical with Starkz. Athena took to Twitter and commented on Rosa’s involvement, as she indicated a possible feud with Rosa.

As previously reported, Thunder Rosa is set for an in-ring return at any time, but the company hasn’t used her for any in-ring work even now. Perhaps fans might get to see her compete against Athena on ROH television upon her return.
