Ex WWE Superstar Nearly Avoids Physical Fight After Incident At 7-Eleven

WWE Superstars can be intimidating if you see one of them in public, especially if the situation is a heated on. Erick Redbeard knows a thing or two about getting his hands dirty in the ring, but he’s ready for anything, no matter where he is.

During an interview with Chris Van Vliet, former Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan discussed an incident that happened on the same day as the interview. In this incident, a pedestrian confronted him while he was in a convenience store.

It seems that someone wanted to start some trouble with the former WWE Superstar at a 7-Eleven store. Some random guy asked him if he wanted to fight, and the giant pro wrestler had to decline from destroying this random guy.

“I went to the signing today, and there was a 7-Eleven and this guy was out front and he basically said: ‘Hey, you tough? You can fight?’”

“And I was like ‘I don’t fight’ and then he’s like ‘well I do’ and then he tried to get in my face. I just walked past him, I wasn’t going to start anything, I go in and I buy some energy drinks.

“As I’m checking out five cop cars are outside. I asked the people that are working there ‘what happened?’“

“Well, I guess the guy has been threatening everybody that’s been walking through the whole day. So they called the cops and they said ‘this is LA, so usually the cops don’t show up.’”

Erick Rowan has met tough guys before, so it’s nothing new to him. Thankfully, he was able to get through this situation without anything popping off.

After his WWE release in 2020, Erick Rowan has continued to participate in the independent circuit and has made occasional appearances for AEW. Erick Rowan also appeared on the August 25th WWE SmackDown, which featured a special tribute show for Bray Wyatt following his passing on August 24th.
