CM Punk remains one of the most controversial professional wrestlers on the planet, who never fails to make a headline no matter what he does. There is a lot of speculation about him going back to WWE following his AEW firing. Now Punk’s entrance theme played during a hockey game at the same venue as Survivor Series this month.
For the past couple of months, WWE has made several references to CM Punk in their programming. USA Network dropping blatant references further added to the speculation as well, which they have done a couple of times already.
The Chicago Wolves hockey team played in a WWE-sponsored game this week at the All State Arena in Chicago, which is also where Survivor Series will be taking place on November 25th. During the game, CM Punk’s ‘Cult of Personality’ theme song played, which certainly got fans talking in a big way.
WWE Creative has not been told anything regarding the potential return for CM Punk. Kane also believes CM Punk’s WWE return would be a business decision. Only time will tell if he will return at Survivor Series this month.
