WWE has sent a lot of main roster Superstars to NXT for a short run, or a few cameo appearances. Since her recent developments, Bianca Belair may want to join in on the fun.
WWE SmackDown star Bianca Belair has hinted at a significant career move following a recent act of betrayal. Plenty of main roster Superstars have taken a trip to NXT for some fun, but Bianca Belair hasn’t been able to take part in that just yet to the extent that she might like.
In a recent WWE SmackDown match, Bianca Belair, alongside Asuka and Charlotte Flair, faced off against Damage CTRL. However, the match took a controversial turn as The Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka, betrayed her tag team partners and aligned herself with the heel faction. This surprising development coincided with Kairi Sane’s return to WWE, who also joined the faction on the blue brand.
Becky Lynch, a former NXT Women’s Champion, recently made a return to the company’s developmental brand and briefly held the NXT Women’s Championship for the first time in her career. Lyra Valkyria ended her reign on October 24. This achievement by Lynch seems to have had an impact on her fellow wrestler.
During a conversation on Casual Conversations, Bianca Belair expressed her happiness for Becky Lynch’s NXT Women’s Championship win. She then hinted that she might consider a return to the developmental brand in the future to pursue the same title, as she too has never held the NXT Women’s Championship in her career.
“So when I saw her [Becky Lynch] get that title, I was like, I know that was a checkmark for her. Even though she’s gone to do great things, that was always something she wanted to check off her list. I’m like, I feel her because I feel the same way. So yes, I can see one day trying to go and mark that off my accomplishments list because I was never able to do that.”
Bianca Belair will likely be a part of the Women’s WarGames match. Asuka turned on Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair, aligning herself with Bayley, Kairi Sane, IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai for WarGames. Now, Bianca Belair may have another idea for what she wants to do next, but it appears that WarGames is certainly in her future.
Only time will tell what Bianca Belair wants to do next. She could make a splash in NXT, and provide a veteran in the locker room who those Superstars of tomorrow could really learn from.
