Update: Kevin Owens was officially suspended by Nick Aldis for his actions during November 10th’s SmackDown.
Original: WWE gave Corey Graves the night off during SmackDown this week, because he is celebrating the birth of his son with Carmella. Kevin Owens took over for Graves, but Nick Aldis made it clear that Owens wasn’t to get physical with any talent, or he would be suspended. Things were going well until A-Town Down Under got involved.
Ringside News has comprehensive coverage of WWE SmackDown this week. The company is bringing a huge show to Chicago for Survivor Series, and there are still a few matches to book.
Kevin Owens was on commentary this week during SmackDown. He was one of the best parts of the show throughout the first 3/4 of the broadcast. Then Grayson Waller and Austin Theory came out to ruin the run.
They hit Kevin Owens, and then they poured water on him. Then they threw the empty water bottle at Kevin Patrick. KO said he could take getting hit and having water poured on him, but he wasn’t about to let them treat Kevin Patrick like that.
Owens chased Austin Theory and Grayson Waller down, threw them in the ring, and delivered stunners on them. Then he had to go to the back to speak with Nick Aldis.
It stands to reason that Kevin Owens is now suspended. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis said that if Owens got physical during this week’s show, then he would be suspended. Kevin Patrick also said on commentary that Owen was going to the back to face Aldis.
