WWE has a few key members of their roster on the injured list, but it appears one of them is ready for a return. Nothing is guaranteed until it actually happens, but it certainly appears that Sheamus is on his way back to WWE.
Sheamus is set to make an appearance at an upcoming taping of WWE SmackDown, as indicated by WWE’s official website. This is big news for him, because he’s been out of action for a while.
The former World Champion’s last in-ring performance took place on the August 18th episode of WWE SmackDown, where he faced Edge and came up short. In September, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that Sheamus had been grappling with a severe shoulder injury. To add to the concern, Sheamus shared a photo on social media on September 23rd, where he could be seen wearing a neck brace.
While Sheamus is listed as one of the featured superstars for the November 24th taping of WWE SmackDown, it’s important to note that card lineups are subject to change, and this announcement does not guarantee his appearance on television. That being said, this may give a big indication that Sheamus is on his way back to the ring.
Sheamus could bring a lot of force back to the roster upon his comeback. The Brawling Brutes also miss having him around, because he adds a lot of brute strength to their stable.
