NXT is going to The CW in October 2024, and a lot of things could change. Fans have another year of NXT on the USA Network, but they may also only have a limited amount of time watching action in the NXT Arena as well.

NXT films their weekly television show from WWE’s Performance Center, more specifically, the NXT Arena. That may change with this new CW deal, because they will have a lot more money to play with.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed NXT’s new deal with The CW. It was also revealed that WWE is discussing a big change for NXT’s weekly presentation with this new television deal.

“There’s talk about taking them touring with the extra money. There’s pluses and minuses for it.”

I was noted that taking the roster on the road would make the television show look better. Typically, audiences tune in more if there is a larger venue, “which would help to a degree, but the developmental aspect of the thing, if you’re taking people out of town it does give them less days in the gym.” It also limits how much training those Superstars can do if they’re always traveling.

It was also noted that NXT could “do arenas in Florida, but there’s only so many before you burn out your audience, especially in that area.” It may help NXT to move to a larger venue each week, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

WWE certainly has more money coming into the NXT brand, so you never know what will happen next. If anything, WWE certainly has those options on the table.
