Tony Khan has gained a lot of attention for his passion and dedication to professional wrestling. He has established himself as an authentic fan and enthusiast of the sport, and this genuine love for wrestling has connected with fans. He currently owns ROH but now a former ROH owner made it clear he isn’t happy with how Khan is running the company.

The AEW President purchased Ring of Honor last year and fans wondered what that would entail for the brand. In the year since then, Khan has produced a few pay-per-views under the ROH brand and started a weekly television series earlier this year.

While speaking on The Insiders, former ROH owner Cary Silkin talked about how Tony Khan has been running Ring of Honor. Silkin talked about the issues he has with the product and made it clear he isn’t happy with how Khan is running the company.

“It’s still alive today, but it’s …it doesn’t have … even in the worst times of my Ring of Honor, even in the worst times of the Sinclair Ring of Honor, there was like ‘We’re all in this together’ kind of.”

“It was a family; the fans are family. And I like Tony Khan, and he’s a good guy, and he’s got so much on his plate that I just think the current Ring of Honor is … I can’t come up with the right words.”

“And maybe I’m sour grapes a little. But it’s not gelled together properly.”

Ring Of Honor is currently going strong as a weekly television program, but there are still a lot of improvements that they can make. Regardless, we’ll have to see what Tony Khan has planned for ROH in the coming weeks.
