AEW Full Gear will take place on Saturday, November 18th, 2023, at the Kia Forum in the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood, California. The company already had a loaded show for the pay-per-view, but they weren’t finished with the card.
Ringside News provided complete coverage of AEW Dynamite’s November 8th episode this week. It was quite a show, and everything seemed to build toward Full Gear in some way.
This week’s episode saw a few surprises, including the Bollywood Boyz showing up in a squash match as enhancement talents. Then they included a return from injury after that. Mariah May also made her surprising debut for the company.
During this week’s AEW Dynamite, they booked Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho vs The Young Bucks. This is a high-stakes match for the pay-per-view.
On AEW Dynamite, Matt and Nick Jackson, known as the Young Bucks, had a backstage conversation with Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho in a pre-recorded segment. The previously observed change in attitude in the Young Bucks from the previous week was evident again, indicating their heel turn. Matt confronted Omega and Jericho about their new partnership, suggesting that Omega had abandoned them, and Jericho was trying to capitalize on their success. In the course of their discussion, Jericho expressed confidence that he and Omega could defeat the Young Bucks, leading to a challenge being issued.
We will have to see how AEW Full Gear turns out. We will have complete coverage of the entire build for the event, as well as the Saturday pay-per-view, here at Ringside News.
