The pro wrestling world is always evolving, and that means sometimes wrestlers will bid the business farewell. It appears that one former Mae Young Classic standout performer is now hanging up her boots.
Jazzy Gabert has wrestled for NJPW, NXT UK, Stardom, wXw and more promotions throughout her career. Sadly, it seems that time in the ring is over now.
Jazzy Gabert posted the following message on Facebook, where she made it clear that she is passing the torch to a younger generation of pro wrestlers. She has been through a lot in the past decade, but Jazzy is leaving that world behind her to younger talent.
I pass the torch
About 10 years ago, an English promoter told me it was time for me to hand over the torch. But God knows I wasn’t ready for it and it annoyed me a lot!
At least in retrospect I can say that there was still a lot to come. The last 10 years have been a high, higher highest!
Now in 2023 with a 20 year in-ring career I can say “I pass the torch”
The future of German wrestling looks bright. The young talents have fire — and the necessary respect and discipline to go far.
I’m getting out of the ring now and I’m now the organizer. That’s where I found my new passion.
Jazzy Gabert’s pro wrestling journey really slowed down during the pandemic. The entire pro wrestling world came to somewhat of a standstill during that time. She was able to make it through that period of her life, and pursue other interests, but she did return to the ring.
Now, it appears that Jazzy Gabert has wrestled her last match. Only time will tell if she pops up again in the future.
