Big E’s growth over the past couple of years is remarkable to say the least, as he has gained so much fanfare due to honest hard work. Big E might be out of action due to injury, but that hasn’t stopped him from enjoying his life. That said, it appears Big E disclosed he is doing more work outside WWE while he continues to be absent due to a neck injury.
Big E has been on the shelf since the March 11, 2022 episode of WWE SmackDown, where he suffered a broken neck. It has been more than a year since the injury and in the meantime, Big E has made numerous appearances on a variety of shows.
While speaking on the UnDrafted AllStarz Podcast Show, the former WWE Champion talked about working on a short film project – titled ‘Bridges.’ He would then provide details about the short film and why it is so important to him in order to teach Black children important lessons.
“To give you the backstory — so George Floyd happens, and a lot of us are sitting with these emotions.
I had so many of my friends I was reaching out to, and we would talk about run-ins with the police. We would talk about all the things we dealt with.
I think, for a lot of people, education — especially Black history — can be filled with pain and trauma. So we wanted to make it fun and engaging and give you an entertaining story.
That’s the goal, is to teach our kids these stories, because they need to know about the Ruby Bridges of the world.
They need to know about the James Baldwins of the world. Especially in Florida, you have too many people who are trying to erase our history.
“They’re trying to pretend like it never happened, and we want to make sure these stories are never forgotten.”
