WWE NXT’s next event, Deadline, will take place on Saturday, December 9th, 2023, at the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The event will include Iron Survivor Challenge matches again this year, and now we know a couple of people who will compete in those matches.

Fallon Henley and Tiffany Stratton did battle this week on NXT, and the winner of their match got a spot in the Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline. In the end, Tiffany Stratton won the match.

Dijak vs Tyler Bate was set for the second qualifying match for the Iron Survivor Challenge match. In the end, Dijak won the match to secure his spot in the match at Deadline.

The rules for the Iron Survivor Challenge Match feature a unique 25-minute match that features five superstars battling each other and the clock. The contest will begin with two superstars in the ring, and every five minutes, a new competitor will enter, resulting in all five participants being in the ring simultaneously. Their objective is to accumulate as many falls as possible within the 25-minute time limit, which can be achieved through pinfall, submission, or disqualification.

For each fall scored, a superstar will earn one point, but suffering a fall comes with a penalty. When a wrestler loses a fall, they are required to spend 90 seconds in a penalty box outside the ring. Once the penalty time elapses, the penalized superstar can re-enter the match and continue competing. The superstar with the most falls to their name when the 25-minute clock expires will be declared the Iron Survivor and earn the coveted No. 1 Contender status for either the NXT Championship or the NXT Women’s Championship.
